HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK?
You can set up an initial consultation with me, either in person or on video call, where we discuss your idea and how I can help you. If you wish to work with me, payment is sent over (see below for details). We will have an initial call where we discuss book structure and content, as we as gaining a synopsis of the book. There will then be regular meetings every few weeks which will be recorded for me to work for writing. The work produced will be emailed to you chapter by chapter for you to review and provide feedback on.
WHAT EXPERTISE + EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE?
I have a BA in English and Drama from the University of Northampton. I have been a high school English teacher. I have also written and published 9 of my own books to date, as well as working as a book coach through my Write Your Magic program to help others to publish their own books. My expertise include self-help, spirituality, women's empowerment and mindset. However, I can ghost write for you on any given topic.
I'VE STARTED WRITING BUT IT NEEDS TO BE REWRITTEN- IS THIS POSSIBLE?
Absolutely! This process will be faster in some aspects, as the content is mostly there to work with.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR THE PROCESS TO BE COMPLETED?
This will vary from project to project, but you're typically looking at 4-6 months for a non-fictions and 12 months for fiction.
HOW WILL YOU GET ALL THE INFORMATION THAT YOU NEED?
We will have either in person meetings that will be voice recorded, or video calls that will be recorded. Documents can be sent to add to this, as well as ongoing emails to fill in any missing details.
WHO OWNS THE COPYRIGHT TO THE WORK?
The person who writes the manuscript, i.e. the ghost writer, automatically owns the copyright by law, even if the ghost writer has been paid a fee to write the manuscript. However, I have contracts allowing me to sign the copyright over to clients, provided all costs etc. have been agreed.
CAN YOU GUARANTEE THAT MY WORK WILL BE PUBLISHED?
I can't promise that you'll be published, but I will give you the best opportunity to do so. If you wish to approach traditional publishers, I can help you identify the right ones and help you craft both the cover letter and book proposal. If you wish to self-publish, I can also help you with this.
DO YOU GUARANTEE CONFIDENTIALITY WITH THE WORK?
Yes, of course. I have a confidentiality agreement that will be signed and sent to you for you to sign too. This is a legally binding document that ensures complete confidentiality.
WHAT ARE THE COSTS INVOLVED?
The total cost of ghost writing is £1000, which includes everything involved in the process, including any travel, edits, meetings and potential publishing.
CAN I SET UP A PAYMENT PLAN?
Yes, of course. We can discuss this and set up a plan that works for you, although there'll be an initial payment of £100 upfront on signing up to work with me.
